Xpac tries to off himself.

According to the unanimously trustworthy word of Juvi, Sean Waltman tried to kill himself. Apparently he couldn’t even do that right.

« In an interview with inyourheadonline.com, Juventud Guerrera said that Sean "X-Pac" Waltman tried to commit suicide in Mexico recently and now is in a treatment facility in America. Guerrera said he visited Waltman last week and that he is doing well. »

Xpac had it made. He was the lackey of two of the greatest stables in pro wrestling history. He was one of those lucky jobbers that actually made it big. Xpac was mostly mocked because of his inability to stick to a name (Kamikaze Kid, Cannonball Kid, and The Kid, 123 Kid, etc.). This was until rumors set in that he had become sort of a mascot of The Kliq, of wrestling legend. It was said that they liked to watch him get drunk and puke all over himself, backstage of course. After that, he was a part of the club and started enjoying the perks- such as a win over “Razor Ramone”.

Problems followed Waltman where ever he went. Refusing to be booked to lose against Booker T, collapsing in an airport, quitting TNA because of Russo getting hired, making an ass out of himself on a reality show while trying to intervene and reconcile with Joanie Laurer/Chyna. Waltman turned to the Indies and a short lived spot on the potentially good but doomed Wrestling Society X on MTV.

He’s even the patron saint of what’s called “Xpac Heat”. It’s defined as legit hate for a wrestler by the fans whether they are playing a heel or face role. Comparable to the boos that John Cena generates.

Xpac, one of the essential elements of the late nineties wrestling boom is now having some personal issues and I truly wish him luck. I don’t wish any harm on anyone. Hope he gets his shit together soon.

Jay Lethal aka Black Machismo pushed!

Lethal took the moniker, or rather mockery of “Black Machismo” when Kevin Nash was passing out gimmicks to try and garner some interest in the X-Division stars of TNA. With his sometimes scary, dead on imitation of Randy Savage, Jay Lethal became pretty popular

Apparently, novelty does pay off for TNA and Lethal because reports claim his merchandise sells have spiked and TNA is giving Lethal a nice push for a reward.

I personally think it’s a stupid. Even more so that TNA seems to be taking it seriously. Lethal has only broken the “Machismo” character once that I remember since he donned the cowboy hat and 80’s sunglasses.

The X-Division was a great separation from WWE, but TNA figured out that it’s not going to keep them on the air. Smarks all over the net dominate forum topics, making it seem like they are a majority. They are not. Smarks want more wrestling and less “entertainment”, generally, and that formula is simply not going to keep a television show on the air.

This is why you tend to see more and more forum topics about smarks “hating” TNA now and TNA’s slow and steady growth in the ratings. The math just doesn’t add up. There’s even some rumors about the “Xdiv” being killed off completely.

BENOIT NOT RESPONSIBLE

This is really not new news, but apparently people are still trying to find a way to take the blame away from Benoit murdering his family. All reports are pretty much final, Benoit did it. It may not make sense, but most vicious murders don’t. Now they are trying to find medical excuses for Benoit.

« Former WWE wrestler Chris Nowinski has been doing several media appearances recently regarding his "Sports Legacy Institute" studies in to concussions in sports, most notably the studies of Chris Benoit's deteriorated brain. He has made it clear that concussions in wrestling are a big problem and during a discussion, it was revealed that ECW star Tommy Dreamer has apparently had a whopping 12 concussions that the two know about.

Nowinski's studies show a correlation between multiple concussions and strange, violent and depressive behavior. Most of his work revolves around football players but since the Benoit tragedy he is branching out in to studying wrestling. It is his and many other doctor's beliefs that undiagnosed concussions caused major brain problems with Chris Benoit, and that he cannot be held emotionally responsible for the murders of his family members. »

My thing is, plenty of wrestlers have numerous concussions. Plenty of wrestlers don’t strangle their wife and son and hang themselves by a weight machine. I agree, these concussions probably make you depressed. They might even have a chance of changing your personality but I’ve have to see more evidence that it makes you into a heartless killer.

Murder is not “normal”. The urge to murder your own child cannot possibly be filed in the “normal” cabinet. Whatever happened that night in the Benoit home was logically beyond the realms of normalcy, especially with the ritualitic way he did it with the bibles and all. Perhaps wrestling with holes in your brain can make you turn into Norman Bates. Who am I to guess?

But saying that Benoit is innocent is not going to fly. Murdering someone is not a sane, rational act. We’d have to give all murderers a pass if we give Benoit one.

So It’s Vince’s fault then?

Every time a wrestler dies, Vince’s name gets tossed into the fold. Seems some folks are desperately trying to put some blame on Vince for these numerous deaths.

Let me give you just a little something to think about.

Vince is on the road more than anyone else in the WWE. He’s never on vacation because he’s always on TV. When you see a wrestler disappear for a few weeks, you see Vince on TV. When Vince gets injured, such as tearing his quads, you see him on TV. The WWE doesn’t have off seasons. No re-runs, no training periods.

You also have to consider that Vince runs more than just the WWE wrestling company. He is trying his hand at movies, shows, other sports and so on. He’s likely in meetings more than not. He has to answer to stock holders, lawyers, agents and the list goes on and on. Wrestlers don’t have half the schedule that Vince has. Bottom line is Vince doesn’t wig out on drugs and attempt suicide and go on murderous rampages.. Let’s not forget that Vince puts his body on the line on a fairly regular basis just like his wrestlers. He manages to keep his shit together

As a matter of fact, if Vince DID wig out every now and then and have “roid rage” sessions and seem to be unhealthy or make stupid decisions and be on the verge of death, his stock holders would start selling their holdings. This was a result of Vince’s “death” angle when he blew his limo up. The media was reporting that Vince was dead and stocks went down because of it.

So if Vince can maintain his “shit” with an obviously massive schedule, why can’t his wrestlers? It’s not Vince’s fault. I don’t agree that he should be forced to screen for drugs and I surely don’t agree with him having to check his wrestlers for brain injuries.

I do agree that Vince should allow his wrestlers time off without fear of any penalty. It’s tough for most of the guys to be away from family for weeks on end and work through pain. It’s physically and emotionally stressful and not everyone can absorb that much damage without some consequence. Vince’s family is usually with him on the road. Everyone doesn’t have that option.
So can Vince really be blamed? I don’t think so. He may have sold steroids back in the day, I don’t think he’s willing to risk his company to do that these days. He’s not holding a gun to anyone’s head or injecting drugs into anyone’s body. He’s not forcing anyone to be a part of the WWE; they are lining up to be there, knowing what’s involved.

Can Benoit be blamed for anything? Of course he can. He lived a life that led to him killing his own son and wife. I also indirectly blame Benoit for this stupid “Bastard son” storyline with Hornswaggle eventually being locked in a steel cage and forced to put his lips on Vince’s naked ass. This never would have happened if Benoit didn’t off his clan. Vince would still be pretending to be dead and lavishing in the media coverage. The whole “you only want the MUNAY” thing would have never led to this stupid bastard son story that SHOULD have been The Sandman in the first place. He would have been perfect!

You hear me Benoit? It’s YOUR FAULT that Vince is going to lock himself in a steel cage and force a midget to kiss his naked ass and book it as a match!!

Fear for the Divas

I worry most about the Divas. They are literally breaking their necks each week because of what looks like poor training or the lack of ability to learn proper ring techniques. Every week a diva botches a move horribly, usually getting injured. Mickie James has fallen awkwardly off the top rope twice in the last month. Kelly Kelly tries to hit some sort of luchadore type of flipping move each week and never gets it right. Soon she’ll land on her neck. Candice just came off a long break; literally, her clavicle was snapped from a bad fall. Lita, poor, poor, Lita has taken some of the sickest bumps I’ve seen on ANY person male or female. I’m surprised she hasn’t gone on a murderous rampage.

I won't put the video of Lita injuring herself, because I have a weak stomach like a pussy. You can surf for it yourself. I hate watching people get injured.

The list goes on and on. How long before a Diva dies from a drug overdose? Then what will the media do? I predict a shit storm of epic proportions. It’s only a matter of time. For now it seems that the women are either stronger than the men or they get better treatment. I see them doing the same thing as the men, week after week- Traveling the same road, doing the same shows, taking the same bumps. Like Jake the Snake said, it’s a necessity that drugs will come along.

The time bomb is already ticking.

Maria’s playboy preview

Apparently, people want to see her nude. I couldn’t care less. Not that I’d kick her out of bed, but to me she looks kind of like a human deer. My pal, Jag loves her however. He’s a fellow admin on the forums. To each your own…

Here's a sexy sneak preview of Maria in the next Playboy...

Kidding, here you pervs go...

Random thoughts…

Does anyone know why Jim Ross knows that hat and shoe size of all the WWE wrestlers? We learned that Albert had a size 8 head and JBL has size 14 boots and plenty of others that just doesn’t seem necessary for Jim Ross to know. Can we say, fetish?

Speaking of Ross, for those who don’t know, he blogs more than I do. Don’t look for him to answer any WWE related questions directly. He doesn’t appear to have a clue about anything that goes on in his company.
