TNA DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THE LEVITY OF THE SITUATION

It took me a while to wrap my mind around that one. It was a quip by our favorite WWE cast off and eternal mid-carder, Road Dogg/BG James. The irony of the statement is "levity" literally means the LACK of seriousness- It's like the opposite of serious- Just like Road Dogg.

How the mighty fall. Road Dogg used to be one of the most well liked wrestlers in the world, delivering what used to be the world’s greatest introduction next to Buffer's. Now he's tag teaming with his 67 year old father.

TNA is still my second favorite show next to Raw. I like it better than Smackdown and light years better than ECW. But some of the things they are doing leave me scratching my head, literally.

For instance, lately, they have been stealing WWE stories and gimmicks. They aren't even being subtle about it. It's like they are taunting the WWE, which isn't the greatest idea I can think of-- but maybe they have a long term plan? Getting sued by Vince just doesn't strike me as a brilliant idea.

1. Shark Boy 24:7. It's a tad funny, I admit. But they stole the music, the drink swilling, the walk, talk and vest of Stone Cold. I just don’t see this as a great plan for a budding company. This is called ‘novelty’ and I see it wearing off quickly.

2. Bad Singing Diva, Christy Hemme. Don West even said "Please don't let her sing!" a couple of times. I'll be expecting the album to hit web stores soon. The "Rock and Rave Infection" also sounds rather familiar, doesn't it? WWE Diva, Jillian Hall has the gimmick of a horrible pop singer. Which is rumored to be making fun of Hulk Hogan’s daughter’s singing career. She even has an album out. The Rock ‘N Sock Connection, of WWE fame has reason to beef about this as well.

3. Kurt Angle saying "I'm better than you" exactly like a certain WWE up and comer. It is possible that MVP stole the gimmick himself, I've heard. But Angle is saying it EXACTLY like MVP says it.

4. The entire Kane/Undertaker story down to the bastard son part. I mean Abyss was always a Kane/Mankind rip off, but now he's completing the effect. Judas is definitely no Undertaker, but good lord is he trying. James Mitchell might as well carry around a f'n urn.

5. Gold… I mean "Black Rain". Sure, the rat adds a new dynamic to Goldust, but it's also been done with Snakes in the WWE.

6. Of course "Black Machismo" makes the list. I think the reasons are obvious for long time wrestling fans.

I've always thought TNA was booked like an efed but now it's getting ridiculous.

Booker T, "Backstage Heat"

People are still reporting that Booker T is in some sort of trouble with TNA, even tho he's still appearing on Impact and is still promenantly on the front of TNA's website.

« Booker-T has been reported to be running his mouth constantly . He even told the Dudleys and Hoyt that their schools(Hoyt is a PCW trainer and Dudleys have a school in florida) were a joke and their students had no talent. Booker-T actually went to the Dudley's school and insulted their students saying they wasted their money and was chased out by one of their student (Pat Break, 6'4 285lbs) Booker-T has also been reported of saying he saved TNA, according to Devon Booker said "I dont need TNA, TNA needs me"..God what a douche. »
That's a quote from one of my forum members, by the way. I didn't hear or read this quote anywhere myself. http://roughkut.com/kamp_v2/index.php?showtopic=10108 ( http://roughkut.com/kamp_v2/index.php?showtopic=10108 )-- It's supposed to be on the Team 3d Website http://team3dacademy.com/ ( http://team3dacademy.com/ ) but I didn't hear it or see it. Even if Booker did say these things, it's 9/10 a work. Booker's never been known to be such a prick. But news is news, even if it's completely made up. CNN and Fox prove that every day.

Benoit morphing into wrestlers or vice versa

Something popped up on my forums which popped up from another forum and I thought it was kind of freaky. Apparently, on WWE's website there are photos of wrestlers appearing to be Benoit on first glance.

That’s HBK and Jerry Co, BTW.

Random Thoughts

Why do wrestlers still wear those bikini tights? I mean, I can totally understand a body builder wearing them to show off each and every muscle. But you have wrestlers like Rick Flair and Trevor Murdock sporting them which makes me wonder why. It's 2008, time to move on completely.

Hell, even Edge joined in the panty wearing fun.

Stumbled on, by my admin-main-man, Jag on my forums; it seems Edge lost his luggage and was forced to wear Murdock's tights. For some reason, I don't buy that story but that's what the link said. There are plenty of plain tight wearing guys in the WWE; you're telling me Murdock's was the only one available at the time? Me thinks Edge was the victim of a prank or he lost a bet. F*ck Edge, he deserves whatever bet he lost, the ass cowboy.

Lance Cade was probably pretty jealous. cade-murd.jpg
